About the Artist

Born and raised in New York, Michael Magrin moved to Colorado in 2001, drawn westward by the expansive skies and sweeping light of the Front Range. It’s here that he found his footing as a painter, pursuing a deep visual and emotional connection with the western landscape. His work reflects a quiet reverence for place—specifically the vast sky—and evokes a sense of calm, timelessness, and spiritual presence.

His work has been featured in Western Art & Architecture, Western Art Collector, and The Artist’s Magazine, and is represented by Insight Gallery (Fredericksburg, TX), Broadmoor Gallery (Colorado Springs, CO), and Abend Gallery (Denver, CO). He has participated in numerous juried exhibitions, including the Young Guns of the Coors Western Art Show and Sale, where his contemporary approach to the western sky continues to resonate with collectors and curators alike.
